KILIFI, Kenya-Dec 29, 2025-Kenya Roads Board Chairperson Aisha Jumwa is mourning the death of her mother, Sidi Karisa, who passed away on Sunday after a short illness.
In a statement released by the family, the late Sidi Karisa was described as a pillar and the heart of the family, remembered for her love, kindness, dignity, and strong moral values that touched many lives.
“The presence of our mother was invaluable to us, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts,” the statement read in part.
The family has announced that burial will take place today Monday at 4:00 pm at their home in Takaungu, Mnarani Ward, within Kilifi North Constituency, Kilifi County.
Condolence messages have continued to pour in from leaders, friends, and the public, who have expressed solidarity with Jumwa and her family during this difficult time.
The family has requested privacy as they mourn and lay their loved one to rest.
