NAIROBI, Kenya-Dec 23, 2025- Former Citizen TV news anchor Jackie Maribe is mourning the death of her father Mwangi Maribe, who passed away earlier Monday.
The sad news has plunged the Maribe family into deep grief, with funeral arrangements yet to be announced.
Widely known for his unwavering devotion, Jackie’s father stood firmly by his daughter during some of the most challenging moments of her life. In a heartfelt tribute shared on her official Instagram account on Monday, December 22, 2025, Jackie described her father as “the very embodiment of perfection,” laying bare the pain of losing a man who meant everything to her. Her emotional words revealed the raw vulnerability of a grieving daughter while also finding comfort in the belief that her father is finally at peace.
